“Spor av liv” is an ongoing photographic series exploring people through the shoes they own.

Each subject is photographed with every pair of shoes they possess, but the series is about much more than just shoes. The portraits, combined with their surroundings and locations, offer insight into the person and their environment. The shoes and the portrait serve as a starting point, an excuse for taking the photograph maybe?

while inviting deeper reflection on identity, habits, consumer culture, and human life. Each image presents layers to analyze, revealing patterns, connections, and subtle details about the people within the series.

Still in progress, the project remains open-ended, encouraging viewers to consider the small details that tell larger stories about who we are and how we live.
